Compliance and documentation

The activity described on this website is the activity we are registered for, the activity our contracts describe and the activity our invoices reflect. A counterparty comparing our website against the public register should find the same company doing the same things.

That consistency is why this site carries no achievement statistics, no unverifiable certifications and no claims of offices we do not have. Anything on this page can be checked; anything that could not be checked was left off.

Documents describe the cargo as it is. We will not issue or arrange documents that misstate the goods, the value, the weight, the origin or the parties to a transaction, and we will not restructure a document set to obscure who is buying from whom.

Where a document must be issued by a licensed party — a customs entry lodged by a licensed broker, for example — it is issued by that party, and we say so rather than implying we hold the licence ourselves.

We screen the goods, the parties and the destination of a transaction before accepting it, and we decline business that would require a licence or authorisation we do not hold, or that we cannot document properly. That includes goods subject to export control and destinations subject to applicable sanctions.

A declined enquiry costs us one transaction. An improperly documented one costs considerably more, and it costs our counterparties too.
