Trading and sourcing
We find, buy and supply goods to your specification. Here we act as principal: we take title to the goods and invoice you for them, not for a service.
What we move, and where
The main flow is from Southeast Asian origins to European and regional destinations, by sea, air, rail and road, as full containers or as consolidated cargo. Inland collection at origin, consolidation, export formalities and the documentation set are arranged as one job rather than as separate bookings.
On the trading side we buy to a customer specification — consumer goods, industrial supplies and components — qualify the manufacturer, and deliver on agreed Incoterms® 2020 terms.
How a shipment runs
Enquiry
You describe the goods, the origin, the destination and the deadline. We ask the questions that change the price before quoting rather than after.
Offer
A written offer stating mode, routing, the Incoterms® 2020 rule and named place, what is included, what is not, and how long the rate holds.
Booking
Space booked, collection arranged, packing and marks confirmed against the documents that will accompany the cargo.
Movement
The main leg runs under the transport document. We report departure, transhipment and arrival, and we report problems when we learn of them.
Delivery
Import formalities completed by the licensed party, cargo released and delivered, and the shipment file closed with the documents you need to keep.
Documents you receive
- Transport document — bill of lading, air waybill or rail consignment note, house or master, stated on the booking confirmation
- Commercial invoice and packing list consistent with the cargo as loaded
- Certificate of origin where the destination requires one
- Commodity certificates where they apply: fumigation, phytosanitary, inspection
- Customs entries and release documentation from the destination
- Insurance certificate where cover is arranged through us
